Every year the Council recognizes this time of the year to prepare and distribute a box of food and gift certificate to a local supermarket for economically challenged families. Volunteer are needed to successfully accomplish this mission.

Friday, November 18, 2011 (min. lifting of 15lbs.)

Shift 2: Unload food/ sort food items; 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm
          (1645 S. 36th Street)

Saturday, November 19, 2011- all activities at 1645 S. 36th Street

Shift 1: Sort/ Box; 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Shift 2: Clean up/ Prepare for Distribution; 11:30 am to 3:00 pm
Shift 3: Distribution; 2:30 - 5:00 pm
Shift 4: Distribution; 4:40 - 7:00 pm

Please note: due to the large amount of food and heavy lifting, all volunteers must be 15 years of age or older.  It is our desire to create a space that is safe for all volunteers.
